This monsoon attraction is located in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan. The one and only hill station in the desert kingdom Rajasthan is the mesmerizing destination Mount Abu which amazes travelers with its exceptional natural beauty. The lush green land filled with many architectural wonders is perfect to relax and spend cozy holidays. Not talking much about the beauty lets talk about the attractions of these places:

1. Dilwara Jain Temple

Famous for its exceptionally striking architecture and marble carving, Dilwara temple is one of the most beautiful Jain temples in the world. The shrine is adorned with minute statuettes on the walls, gateways, archways, pillars, and panels. If one wants to soak themselves in religious spirits, then they should not miss an excursion to this temple on their tour to Mount Abu

2. GURU SHIKHAR PEAK

The highest point of Rajasthan, this could be reached by covering a distance of 15 Km, providing a great view of the city. Temple of Dattatreya and his mother are located here only, which is why the peak is named thus, after Guru Dattatreya- the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Other important temples situated at this mountain peak are Chamundi Temple, Shiva Temple, and Mira Temple. This is a very famous place to visit for people to enjoy there day peacefully so don’t forget to pack your beverages and food items and enjoy this place.

 3.Anchaleshwar Mahadev and Achalgarh fort

This is a  very famous temple in Mount Abu and as a devotee of Lord Shiva, I would recommend you to visit this beautiful temple. With idols of Lord Shiva, Nandi-the bull and stone buffalos, the complex is typical Jain architecture built in the 15th century. The temple is a part of Achalgarh Fort.
and very much interesting fact about this temple is that the toe of Lord Shiva is worshipped at this temple.


4.Nakki lake

This is the most interesting place of all the others and I would personally recommend you to visit this place if you once visited Mount Abu. It is the largest man-made water reservoir at an altitude of more than 1100 m in India. The romantic story of being dug only by nails to fulfill a promise also works as enchantment to the visitors. The lake is also famous as Mahatma Gandhi ji’s ashes were immersed here leading to the construction of  Gandhi Ghat. There are many hotels, restaurants, and motels located here with very cheap street food so you don’t have to worry about the food and also it is the best destination for photography and boating zorbing and relax in the garden so I would recommend you to visit this place.

5. Sunset point

Now, this is the destination for the people who love sunset very much this place is very much famous for the sunset in Mount Abu. The view of this sunset from Aravalli hills is amazing and what more you need then a relaxing place and sunset. This point is also shooted in Bollywood movies and you will fall in love with this view.

There are more tones of places to visit in Mount Abu and if you are having a good budget and want to have very good memories this summer then I will recommend you to visit this beautiful place and don’t worry about the transportation this place is very well connected to highways and other places.
At Mount Abu hotels are also quite cheap and beautiful and if you ask me about the weather then I would tell you that you are going to miss the monsoon of this place if you didn’t go now and enjoyed the weather.
